Winnie the Pooh painted village

Cute village with lots of murals of cartoon characters

The artworks are scattered around the whole area. Took us around 30-45 minutes on foot to cover everything. Not much shade in the area so sunblock and umbrella are needed. The place isn't as well maintained as Danei Totoro Wall Murals. There are a lot more drawings as compared to Danei, so it worths the trip going to the outskirts of Tainan. I pretty much prefer the artworks in Danei as it is of higher quality. However, the interpretation of Winnie the Pooh and its cosplay to various characters of Chinese culture is a selling point for this village. The public transport in Tainan is next to non-existent. So getting a chartered car is in your favour. Planning the trip to all the outskirts area and getting a car is the most efficient way that we can think of. We paid less than 2000NTD (~1800) for 6hrs, covering Winnie the Pooh painted village, Shunhua painted village, Crystal Church and Qigu salt farm, then back to Tainan city centre.

A bit disappointing cuz many of the painting were destroyed or blocked.

Nice if youre a fan of winnie the pooh. Not very suitable if you do not have a driver
