Yes this is one of the busiest areas in Taipei and also one of the most consumerist, but it has a young vibe and the space above the subway station is pleasant.

Haven't taking the green line before the green line starts from songshan and ends at xindian station we would like to take the green line but it is not an good time to go to Taiwan

Zhong Shan shopping mall. A great place to stroll during inclement weather like excessive heat or rain. Public art gallery. Talk with your date about the pictures you see.
