Science Museum [Dedicated Lane]

A visit of all the exhibitions and the adjacent science centre can take up a whole day if you really go for it. Even just visiting the main Exhibition Hall, some of the smaller exhibitions, the mini zoo on the roof and the adjacent science centre can be a full day affair. Interesting exhibits include the Mammoth display (there's also a mini side exhibition about the evolution of elephants in another section of the museum); a section on Dinosaurs (including fossils, skeletons, T-Rex and Raptor animatronic)—though not as comprehensive in coverage as the Natural Science Museum, UK, of course, Human biological and cultural evolution, animal biology (skeletons and an actual preserved feline nervous system included), taxidermy displays of certain animals, a mini zoo, (at the time I visited) a special bonsai competition/display, a section on early Chinese science and technology, an exhibit on TCM, sections on human biology, life, health, and death (including a real mummy), etc. Overall the museum was pretty well organised and its collections well-presented. As usual, though some of the info cards had English translations, I wouldn't recommending depending on them (as always, the translations need editing). As such, more beneficial for visitors who can read 繁体字.
