U.I.J Hotel & Hostel - 友愛街旅館

Perfect place to stay in Tainan. There are too many cool features to list, including complimentary pour-over coffee, a lounge-outdoor patio which has Edison String Lights in the evening, stained concrete floors, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lobby espresso bar.nThe location is an easy walk to museums and Snail Alley.nNext to the hotel is a traditional market and food stalls, a small park, and one of Tainan's most famous noodle shops. And, a sake bar, Italian restaurant, and a bar called Gentlemen Only (not a strip club).nThe staff is great, including the manager Rita, Kevin, Daniel, and Sara.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Lovely smell when you enter. Staff were well dressed and styled, attentive and helpful. Rooms were cosy, well styled and designed. Bed was super comfortable. We had the superior king room. only thing they were missing was providing body lotion/moisturizer, but its a tiny issue. not a big deal. the other toiletries are lovely.nnPrice was a little expensive but well worth it. Lovely 3rd floor community area like a co working and eating space. Balcony/rooftop on 3rd floor was lovely and open with many plants.nnFree tea and coffee provided. great selection of books and music on offer to listen to and read. will definitely be back! rooms were quiet and location was good too!

10/10 experience staying at the hotel! The location is convenient and close to many attractions, the rooms were nice, tidy & well lit, and the staff were very friendly and attentive to helping the customers out.nnAbsolutely loved the design of the hotel - rooms and the building structure looked classy yet hipster with a younger vibe at the same time. The common room on the 3rd floor was very cozy and had a balcony that would be light up with decoration lights at night which made it the perfect place to chill and sip on a hotel-brewed beer!

Everything is good and cozy. Amazingly friendly staff. The terrace is spectacular, you can also hand drip your own coffee at the open kitchen, bring it to the terrace and just relax and enjoy the sunset and lights. If you want to explore Tainan, the hotel is quite close to many attractions. For one thing need to be improved is that the cleaness in the hostel.

I enjoy my stay this time very cozy and homey !!
