You can rent a motorcycle here. You walk towards the right side for around 100 meters after going out of the Taitung train station. If you are going to Green Island, they also provide return service at second spot--Fugang Fishing Port--where you can take a ferry ride to Green Island. It cost 350~450 NT dollars per day to rent a motorcycle.
