In the early days of the Japanese Occupation Period, the Hsinchu Station part of the original route was rerouted. At the same time, it was planned to build a longitudinal railway to the south. In 1913, the Hsinchu Station was converted into a wooden station building in the second year of the Japanese Occupation. Historical records show that Hsinchu Station is also the terminus of the Liu Ming Chuan Railway. Time has changed.
