A proud looking tree. Worth a visit, not at all overrated in my point of view.nTakeshi Kaneshiro's presence in the advert was like a midas touch to the tourism industry of the area.nnAccording to locals, they tried bringing in an amusement park, airports. But the local farming community wouldn't have any of those that may affect the rice of Chishang. Finally, with the advert of EVA Air, Chishang was on the map as a tourism site.

So so but it's a quiet place to let people cool down

Peaceful walk. But I absolutely don't get it. The tree is not even really in the road. You can drive in near it and walk rather than hiring a bike... we drive and walked as we had little time on the way to next destination... hiring a bike for an hour or so did look relaxing though
