A very professional and efficient operation. As a 外國人 in Taiwan, I always dread opening a bank account because it typically requires 6 employees, 100 documents, and 3 hours to get it done. At this CTBC branch I opened both NTD and FX accounts and got set up on the banking app with the help of just one very competent employee. It didn’t even take half an hour. Highly recommended.

I received the number plate for change, and told me that the cashier was going to the vault to get the money and told me to wait. After waiting for more than half an hour, the number was over a dozen numbers. Finally, I couldn't wait any longer before I went to the counter to ask, and found that the change was already on the table. During off-peak hours, it’s not a situation where there are too many people, there is no notice, people wait, and more than an hour is wasted over there?nThe point is that you made an appointment by phone about an hour before, and you have to wait so long at the scene. What does the appointment mean? Just pick up the number on the spot? ? ?

Although I couldn't open an account right away, I explained the reasons in detail to me, a non-Taiwanese who just planned to open an ordinary deposit account.nI also apologized to me for waiting for nearly an hour. It's too polite. Taiwan's financial regulations are not the teller's fault; and even in Hong Kong, where efficiency is important, it is common to wait for an hour to open an account at a traditional bank counter. ..

I went to another branch in Kaohsiung before to open an account, but I had to wait for 9 hoursnThis time I came to Sanmin branch to handle the account problem, and it will be solved in less than an hour after waiting for additional processing!nThe service is really good, so happy!
