Every year on Teachers' Day, the Taipei Confucius Temple holds the Confucian Memorial Ceremony. It has been held for more than 80 years since the temple was built in 1930 with funds raised by local gentry.

The temple is a reflection of traditional Chinese government's emphasis of certain personal discipline, social order, respect for others, and, above all, observance of government and its rulers and laws.nnTemple shows beauty of design and simplicity, and it has annual ceremony on September 28, Teacher's Day in Taiwan.nnIt is fee-free for entrance, use if bathroom, and has handicapped entrance.

A memorial stie for Confucius and his disciples. Worshiping ceremony is to honor their great spirits, not kind of religious routine.

It is a quiet temple with a display of the history of Confucian six arts . I don’t think it is a very popular tourist attraction. Ok to visit if you just want a peaceful tour
