Dharma Drum Mountain Nung Chan Monastery

This Buddhist center is fairly easy to get to. A oasis in the middle of busy taipei city. Large campus with amazing architecture. There are some Buddhist lesson the day we visited. Not as quiet as I expected. Nonetheless, reflected pond with water lily still wins my heart. Parking is super easy. I live the double concert walkway by the parking. What a smart design. Not only obscure the car park, it also provide access every point along the car park. Making the walking as pleasant as it can be. Provide nice contrast with the big open area.

Beautiful temple in a contemporary style where you can enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere. It is a little bit off the beaten track but easily accessible by bicycle or public transport.

As a temple, it is really unusual. The environment has a calm effect. It is worth visiting.
