Hongludi Nanshan Fude Temple

A famous temple in New Taipei City. The temple was a historic building which was built at 1736, and is of age more than 280 years old. The temple is famous in a very tall Land God statue of 108 feet in height. One can see the Land God statue as driving passing by on the highway. Several mountain trails can start here.

It is a MUST GO tour if you decide to visiting New Taipei City which is just a few miles away from West of Taipei. You can reach here via a several public transportation, e.g., Taipei MRT orange line, buses, or taxi. After the worship, there is a couple of hiking routes nearby if you want to bleed yourself dry and be surrounded by the aroma of the forest.

Great place to see the glorious Taipei skyline! Best view is up the 450 steps to the top temple. Magnificent !

Lots of steps, but great city views at the top. Bunch of miniature plastic Buddha’s in a room. Pretty well kept up and clean. Fairly quiet on Monday.

This place is one of the best night view I have ever seen.
