Dadaocheng Cisheng Temple

In front of the temple there is a food stall street: try the xian zhou (salty porridge) next door to the squid stall, ji Juan (chicken roll), and Zhong Liqi’s squid stall.

Nice Mazu temple with a laid-back feel. Usually not many visitors. Nice open temple plaza to hang out. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area (to visit Dihua Street, for example).

A place you can have good local food and wonderful outdoor dining experience. Highly recommend going there with good friends and wine.

Good selection of food. Quite a bit of crowd coming towards lunch hour but waiting time is still reasonable. Try the pork chops here, it's really good.nnThe crown jewel for me is the fried rice. It's simple but tasty, and the little anchovies gives it a rich fragrance in every bite.nnIt's right outside a Mazu temple, so once your tummy is filled, do go in and pray for good fortune.
