Raohe Night Market

Not the best night market in Taipei. Relatively smaller and food focused. I enjoyed my time there but it's not worth a drive over if you have other markets closer to you.

Good selection of food items and trinkets to shop for. This night market is well managed which shows up in its cleanliness. It's location is very accessible. Overall, one of the top night markets in Taipei.

Raohe night market is one of the oldest and traditional night market in Taipei. Many street food as well as side shops selling different things. I suggest to visit it with some local person to better understand all the different food and specialties.

Among all the night markets this one has the most variety. Went there one night with my friend and had a blast shopping and tasting dishes. For sure a Taiwanese experience and perfect for foreigners. You can buy literally any street food dish in small portions to taste and share here. Worth stopping by when you are in town.

This night market is not as big as Shilin. But if you want to find wide variety of snacks and meal, here can be your first choice.nnThe Good:nMany choices, easy to find them. It's only one straight road.nNear MRT and train station. So it more accessible to come here.nBehind the market there is rainbow bridge and riverside area. Best place to enjoy all the stuff you buy.nnThe bad:nThere's a temple in the entrance, expect crowd during events.nThe road is very small. People usually walking in counter clockwise ud83dudd04 direction. It will be difficult to walk contraflow.nMost sitting place in riverside are occupied by the couples.
