Remote and gorgeous!
A lot of diving spots and water skiings on the way. We have tried river tracing first time in Taiwan, thanks to Peng(Professional River Tracing Guide of OnPro Outdoor Ltd.) showed us how to have amazing fun in this beautiful clear wild river. We were really enjoyed this trip.
Take the local bus from Hualien to Sanjhan and trek towards the Golden Grotto. Give yourself one day to complete the trek. It's river tracing up the valley and most of the time, you'll be alone. The view is worth the effort and it is relatively safe
