Bus and train in Taiwan are very convenient. You can go to the most lively place in the city by it. In hsinchu, there are two kinds of bus. One is free as long as you have a card with money inside and another isn't. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The former is free but the interval between each shift is very long. The latter needs money but the interval between each shift is about 10 minutes. Xinzhuang Station have both two kinds of bus and train. By the way, the surrounding here is clean.

From my perspective, this is the place where you can get to THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail) Hsinchu station in the most efficient way. It only takes me 8 minuets to get to the THSR station. And most importantly, the price is super cheap. The frequency of the train bounding for THSR is 30 minuets, it would be more convenient if the trains come more frequently.
