To get there, take the 1877 bus from Nanyang Station Exhibition Centre which takes about an hour and a half. From the drop off point, walk towards the pier and to the left (with the harbour in front of you).nnIt's a sprawling beach with black sand, very popular with beginner surfers. You'll find a lot of surfing schools on the beach, and little surf shops and snack shops. The surf was quite choppy when we got there, with lots of surfers hogging the same waves. However, it's a little bit dirty with cigarette butts and litter on the beach.nnIf you're hungry, also check out Drifter's Pizza Pub which is right next to Wai'ao Train Station. They make delicious homemade pizzas there.

The car that returned to Taipei was to be taken back from the round mountain. The holiday was not announced. The car was empty but the number of seats was only 15 and it was only after the third car was waiting for the third shift. It took 70 minutes. Only get on the bus, I will never take it again.
