Dragon and Tiger Pagodas

Interesting place to visit. Go in with dragon’s mouth and come out with tiger’s mouth. The view of the city and the lake below from the towers were very nice. Although the place is full of tourist (including myself😆), still it is nice place to visit.

Fun and historical location in Kaoshuing. Lots of painting inside describing their religion. Get views of the pond and scenery. I highly recommend anyone to visit. Their are small mom and pop stands across the street selling snacks and souvenirs.

A unique tourist spot that's both huge and colorful in a very Taiwanese way. Go there and you'll soon find yourself immersed in the Taiwanese way of life.

The highlight of Kaohsiung! It's a wonderful area to stroll and also see traditional Taiwanese culture. It's well worth the climb to the top of the pagodas, as you'll get a panoramic view of the ponds. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and you'll see locals walking their dogs, biking or playing chess. Note: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be different.

Very nice. Only a donation is requested for entry. Other nearby temples and places of interest, like the old city wall.
