Beimen Crystal Church

Pretty nice place if you want to take a romantic picture in front of the church. Worth a visit if you are going to the salt dunes (it's very close). Works really well for couples. At night they open some lights which can look pretty cute.nThere is an entry fee of 20 ntd.

Small church located in Tainan's Beimen District, that's worth looking at for a few minutes. The main attraction is the sunset on the salt flats 2km west. Public transport is very limited so ideally you need your own transport. I cycled up Highway 17 from Tainan.

Another landmark was made for money making. It’s called Crystal Church, actually it’s a church with somewhat unique look (copycat from somewhere?) with some glasses and a lot of openings on a fish pond. On our way out, a bus load of 30 some high school students got together to have photos taken outside the gate (because they don’t want to pay the admission fee). There are way too many this kind of attraction spots nowadays in Taiwan.

Not bad for the price, nothing to drive out of your way to see unless your gf is looking to start the conversion about marriage.
