Jingzijiao Wapan Salt Fields

Well, there's not an awful lot to do here but driving here from Tainan is quite nice, surrounded by water. You won't spend a whole afternoon here admiring the salt piles but it's a nice spot to take some photos, I found the reflection in the water an interesting theme. Place is known for sunset so it'd be worth coming back to see what that is like. There's a few shops here too to stock up on souvenirs and ice cream. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you have a car and some time to kill, it's a perfectly fine pastime.

Great for sunset watch! The salt fields can perfectly reflect the sunset and its glory. This is a very well-organized place for photography lovers. The reflection goes with the sunset, awesome! Coming a bit late with the blue hour, that will be something as beautiful, too. If driving, parking will be another concern during the sunset peak hour.

The last salt pan left in Taiwan. Definitely a perfect spot for sunset for photo enthusiasts, a good view point for Black-face Spoonbills (from October to March) for photographers, and an educational & informative place for kids. This is somewhere you can never miss in Tainan when the weather cooperates and time permits.

Amazing picture place. Don't bother with daytime visiting, go straight for the sunset time, it is really beautiful.nThe salt dunes are not impressive by themselves, but the view with the sun is just great.nThere are also some shops around which sell some delicious sausages.nThe big shop with salt products is overpriced unfortunately.
