Zuoying Yuandi Temple

Nice place to have some photos there, within Lotus Lake

Nice little tourist spot to learn about their culture and religion. It's a must see for anyone visiting Taiwan. Three different locations to see the views of the lake which is full of fishes, ducks and turtles. Plus alot of small mom and pop souvenirs stands.

The whole area is very nice and close to other attractions so we got dropped off and were able to visit many of the others. Saw the tiger/dragon pagoda which is right down the road. Confucius one of the legendary chinese warrior and one of my favorites. The shrine is very bright and pretty huge.

Close to all the other temples of the area this temple is hard to miss. It's a simple zen walk to the end of the path, where you can admire the big statue (There are other statues on the path, albeit smaller and less colorful). There is an entrance under the statue, nothing really interesting inside, unless if it's your first temple. This is free to do and beautiful to look at, so nothing to complain about.

This is a very unique temple in the shape of one of the legendary warriors in Chinese history. I would highly recommend this place. The outside is uniquely artistic and colorful. However, the second floor is rather small and not as appealing as those of other attractions here.
