Renting in Taiwan is a pain, insurance is limited and if you don't report to police you for every little thing happen to your car...means you are liable for the lost of car rental income and also cost of repair(even a slightless scratch) I feel like they can charge you any amount as you have no collateral, but they have your credit card details. Fyi...after reading the T&C I decide not to rent it, i drove and rent in so many countries first time encountering this kind of clause and law...where is the comprehensive insurance?
