Zhaori Hot Springs

Magical place. We took a sunset scooter ride around the island with this as our mid point destination, and arrived at dusk. We soaked in the gigantic beach hot tub and stared out over the pacific under a starry sky. Do you know how rare it is to find a natural hot spring on a beach? You can count their number world-wide on one hand. As you look out to the east from the shore of this tiny Island, under the night sky, you can contemplate the fact that just out past the breakers, the ground underneath this pool you are floating in descends rapidly into one of the deepest parts of the Pacific Ocean. It’s a complete exercise in the humility of being a speck in the vastness of the cosmos.

As has been mentioned, you will not be allowed to use the facilities if your bathing suit has pockets. This is because it is a public facility and complies with Taiwan public pool health standards that have same rule. The bathing suits they sell are expensive. The setting is spectacular, mountains, rocks, ocean waves and open air pool. the variety of pools, jets and temperatures okay. The place is slightly run down, be very careful walking on the boardwalk as there are many rusty bolts sticking up. 2 stars marked down because staff needs some customer centric education, the run down bits. Otherwise 5 stars.

The place is very beautiful, you can see amazing sunset view at morning and a lot of stars at night. You can enjoy hot spring while you are watching charming scenery. Please remind, wearing swimsuit! Moreover, there is a place which you can boil eggs, shrimps, and water bamboos, but I suggest you remember buy eggs before you go to Zhaori Hot Springs, because there price is more expensive. I have been to Zhaori Hot Spring with my family on holiday. We went to there at 4:30am. There was crowd, but It was worthwhile to visit there again! I was really recommended here!

The staff are not at all helpful. Just so anyone else going here knows, you cannot wear anything that has pockets. Not sure why, but no pockets. It's not a joke, promise. If it has pockets, no. You can of course buy something that does not have pockets at their store. I don't know what traumatic life event happened to them involving pockets, and I don't want to know, but it must have been terrible. So, be warned.

prestigious reputation for the view of sunrise, but not so rounded actually. the bathrooms and shower rooms are aged; normally the hot spring is a bit freezing, especially when u stand up from the pools, largely due to the strong wind blowing here all over the year. Anyway, it’s still a scenic place worth your visiting.
