Ho-Hsin Bus Chao Ma Bus Station

Arrive buy your ticket and wait for you bus its very easy. Seems that they go to all west taiwan. In my case Kaohsiung. Also it's very convenient if you are staying around fengjia market

A waiting place for our taxi after drop-off from the airport bus. You need to be clear with the airport bus driver. We almost missed it. Nothing much around the place only a convenience store.

4 stars for their bus facility: comfort seat, clean in-bus toilet. And in itself bus station, they have a clean waiting room, drink fountain, VIP lounge, friendly staff. Minus 1 stars for their time accurancy. In the peak season, usually they late for 30mins till 1 hour or more.

The area referred to as Chaoma is not a single bus station but three separate bus companies (King Bus, U-Bus and Ho-Hsin), with two more on the other side of Taiwan Boulevard (Taichung Bus and Aloha). Aloha is considered the higher class of the five, but their facilities are lacking. The best option is usually Ho-Hsin who have recently updated their terminal, and have comfortable buses, most with personal TVs and USB charging ports. Tickets can also be booked at any convenience store for the first three companies. This is a more convenient option than taking the train for those based in the western part of Taichung where most of the attractions are, and has good connections to all the express buses to other parts of town from the Maple Garden bus stop in Taiwan Blvd.
