This is probably the worst experience renting car in Taiwan. Before I rented the car, the woman informed that she didn’t buy the insurance for scratches and dents from unexpected accidents. I consented and signed the agreement to pay the amount to fix the scratches and dents if those were to happen. Because I was not familiar with the directions, my car ended up in a very narrow alley. As I was trying to back my car, I left two conspicuous mark of dents on the right side of the car and a scratch mark on the front side. I knew from the beginning that I am responsible to repair the car. The attitude of the woman was extremely poor when I try to explain the situation. She insisted that I pay the costs of repair and the rental fee of number of days that the car is in factory. It is reasonable that I pay the cost of repair; however, the rental fee upon the car being sent to the factory should not be charged. She did not inform me before I sign the agreement or give me a clear evidence that the car is being rented out in the days that the car is out. I have not seen anyone so ignorant yet stubborn. Will you go out of business if you do not have this particular car for customers to rent out? I doubt it. Will your business increase significantly with the addition of the car? If that is the case. GIVE ME EVIDENCES. Don’t just imagine the sales of your business to go up with your pathetic poor conditioned Toyota Corolla Altis. Last but not least, the woman is extremely nitpicking in terms of the rental car. She even tried to charge us on the condition tire of the car, which was already in bad condition when we rented out. I will not recommend this place to anyone in any situation. If you want to rent out a car to tour the vicinity of puli or sun moon lake, it is best to find a legitimate place with impartial measures to evaluate the car condition upon return and a good insurance plan on the car. (和運租車 is a good example that meet the standards). The low prices of the rental didn’t event mask the awful service attitude and illegitimate standards to rent out cars

Lady boss is very fast and clear, she offered to pick us up from the bus stop to her shop. When we return the car, she also offered to send us with our luggages to the bus stop. Price is fair, would be nice if have more offers. Unfortunately a smaller car that we booked a few days in advance was not available and we were given a bigger car (1.8litre Corolla) and had to pay more. We drove from Puli to Sun Moon Lake and Cingjing/HeHuanShan (back to Puli) and it requires 1/2 tank of petrol, we wished we didnt wasted money to fill-up full tank gas (about 1000NT). Car condition is good and cleanliness is acceptable. The one and only rental options in Puli that we know of. We will be back again if we need a car in this area.

Although it is some distance from the transfer station, the price is reasonable and the boss is also very good. In the future, I will come here to rent a car when I come to Nantou to climb the mountain. Recommend!
