It’s cool in spring, starting from the ancient road of the Jinzi Tablet to the lonely road
Go to Jiufen under the pavilion
The ancient road is not long but it has ancient meaning, although the gold tablet is obscured
But it is an important historical relic throughout the ages
There are two fork roads from crossing the ridge to Tanyou Pavilion. You can choose to continue walking in the shade of the trees or directly off the highway for hiking. Connect to Route 102 and continue forward. After about 20-30 minutes, you will see the Dachukeng Ancient Road. You can choose to go down to the settlement to complete the O-shaped vertical walk.
A panoramic view of the scenery along the Ruishuang Highway
Surrounded by mountains and dense vegetation
Occasionally, pink cherry blossoms that have not withered yet
The closer you get to the pavilion, the louder voices make it the best photo spot
Occasionally a lonely road passed by heavy machinery and riders
Actually, it's not lonely at all.
Shupingmei, Diaoshan Ancient Road, Benshan Geopark, Yangtingli Ancient Road, etc.
You can choose the route you want to walk along the road
If you want to challenge and don't want to feel bored, I really recommend this route!
There are two routes from Jinzibei ancient road up the mountain to Tanyou Pavilion. Take the mountain road that indicates the pavilion. The ridge line needs to be pulled up for a short period of steepness. It is very hot without shelter, but the view is very broad. After reaching the pavilion, You have to walk up a section of the concrete road to reach the Dacukeng Trail. It feels worthwhile to see the beautiful ladder. It is not dangerous for the black dog owner to drink at home (here is an abandoned elementary school with attached toilets). Go down the stairs to indicate the monkey cave. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the Jinzibei at 4,100 meters from the station. Today, I took the O-shaped route and completed it in four hours. It is very enjoyable and you can plan a great quality trail by considering your physical strength.

Monkey Cave-Golden Tablet-Feng Xian Shi Forbidden Monument-Qingyun Palace-Peony Station
The air is good along the way, surrounded by trees, streams, and white clouds.
For those who don’t usually exercise much, I can only walk slowly
The Jinzi monument to the Fengxianshi forbidden monument is a continuous upward ladder
The forbidden monument to the peony is a terrifying continuous downward slope
It’s more difficult to walk down the wooden stairs, so I knelt down once my knees became weak.
The stone steps of the trail are steep, the knee joints should be protected, and the speed should be slowed down when going down to avoid injury to the nodules. There is a bit of chill in early spring, and there is a cold wind blowing. People who are afraid of cold should wear a coat.
Trails of medium difficulty.
Most of them are ladders.
I met only two people along the way from Houdong to Peony.
