lack of order, a lot of mosquitos in the summer time. My friend hosted a BBQ event here, but toilets were very far from the BBQ place. Not so manynFaucet either. Not very convenient.nMaybe it will be better for winter activities.

This is my second time going and honestly, I wouldn’t return after my last experience.nnThe staff is friendly, there is a variety of different ‘maps’ and modes, it caters nicely to English speakers, and provides all necessary safety measures.nnBUT: The process of actually starting to play the game takes ages. After a pointlessly long 45 minute intro of useless information, separating into two teams and outfitting everyone, we played two rounds of a 6-minute elimination match before a last ALL OUT battle, meant to make players spend all their ammo.nnGame over. 5 hours of my life dedicated to 12 minutes of game play IF you weren’t knocked out in the first minute. The wait time between rounds was obnoxiously long.nnThe gear: Guns shoot everywhere (but it’s paintball, that’s to be expected)nThe protective clothing is ripped, stitched, sanitized, and abused (also exactly as it should be)nThe masks are terrible though. They stank of a horrendous odor and 1/4 of the people couldn’t see out of their masks at all after taking 3 deep breathes. The staff handled the problem by just telling them to wipe their mask off, as if that would stop the steam from blocking their view. Many of my friends just gave up and handed their gun to a person with a clear mask.nnThe cost of more balls is absurd without any possibility of buying in bulk to lower the expense. 2NT per ball sold in batches of 50,100,200.nnThis place needs a serious overhaul to cater to the different types of players.

A great paintball place nestled conveniently in the mountains of Neihu District, Taipei. We visited 147 in a small group of 5 people and ended up getting tacked on to a larger group. The fee included gun, clothing, and gear rentals, all of which were in very good condition, especially given the conditions surrounding the fields (heat, humidity, mud, etc).nnOur guide/coach/ref was extremely friendly, spoke English very well and really made the game fun to play. Safety was definitely the primary concern, but wasn't a jerk about it either. He gave everyone a quick and precise run down of how to play, what to expect, how to be safe and how the rules were going to work - while adding in jokes here and there to make the explanation less boring. He also took pictures during the game and sent it to us right away after the game was finished.nnWe played on two fields when we visited the park, one was a speed ball course, which was surprisingly extremely fun despite the relatively small size of the field, and the other was a sort of wood ball field on a large hill with each team starting either on top or below. Fields contained enough cover to make multiple strategies possible and didn't give a significant advantage to one side or the other.nn147 exceeded all expectations and I am sure we will definitely return to play again. Price is very fair (even cheap I would say), coaches are very friendly, and will definitely make for a fun day.
