If you want a hotel that will make your trip to Keelung much more enjoyable, then you should definitely go to Evergreen Laurel Hotel, because it has a newly painted room, a location nearby a unique night market, and a swimming pool along with a hot water tub.nnThe room looks extremely new and recently decorated. Furthermore, the room is well lit, making the atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. The toilet is spacious, clean, and well maintained.nnAnother feature of this hotel is a night market 15 mintues away, and it is unlike any else. It opens at 12 in the afternoon, selling an assortment of crab meat soup, peanut ice cream, and a sandwich dubbed “healthy” that you definitely must try. The food sold at this night market is simply excellent.nnFinally, like many other hotels, this one has a swimming pool. It isn’t crowded at all, so you can spend hours it there with the entire pool to yourself. In addition, it is an indoor heated pool, allowing for a quick swim anytime you want. The hot water tub is also an excellent option if you want a pool that is much warmer. However, you have to pay close attention to their safety rules in order to use the tub.

Service is mediocre. Rooms are a bit old but clean. Noise isolation is poor, you can hear your neighbors talk and move about.nStaff asks you to wear masks when picking up food, but don't help enforce it. Most guests don't follow the rules, coughing and sneezing.

As tourist we have visited Keelung maybe 6 times and stayed here 4 of them, because we like it and can afford it. Location is ok, service is excellant. Food very good. But I am only repeating what others have said. Also, great views. We liked to wlk up the hill our our to Keelung Island.

Evergreen Laurel Hotel is located in the city center, not far from the night market. In front of the harbor, you can see the beautiful scenery. Sometimes you can see the passengers who want to board the cruise ship, and sometimes you can see the big ship entering the port. Because it is an old hotel, it takes a long time to wait for the elevator, so there is room for improvement. The equipment in the room was neat and clean, and overall it was good. The gym and swimming pool are quite comfortable, and there are also video games for players. The 18f restaurant offers buffets. The restaurant is a bit small. It is an exaggeration to wait in line for a meal. It feels very poor and wastes a lot of time. The hotel service staff is courteous and considerate, and there is free parking. It is a hotel that we can stay at.
