On November 11, 1990, a general meeting of parishioners with the participation of the village authorities, the leaders of the village was decided to return to the womb of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Diocese. And on December 02, 1990, Bishop Ivan Semedi consecrated the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin, returned to the Greek Catholic community in the village of Nevytsky. On May 3, 2014, the Reverend Bishop of Milan, on an archpystic visit, visited the Holy Protection Parish of the village of Nevytsky to celebrate the Holy Liturgy and consecrate the new catechetical home.
