Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) are one of the Protestant movements that arose in the United States in the century. [1] The most distinctive features of the doctrine are the belief in the need to observe all the Ten Commandments (including the literal observance of the commandment of the Sabbath) and faith in the near Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The doctrinal doctrine of orthodox Adventists, inherited from earlier Protestantism, is that the justification of man before God is given only by the gift of grace, and only by faith in Jesus Christ (in His sacrifice at the Cross of Golgotha). Cases in the teachings of modern Adventists are regarded as the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is grown in the character of a Christian. In this case, the fruit of the spirit includes such qualities of character as love, joy, peace, patience, mercy, faith, modesty, and contentment.
