In the 80s, a museum was located in the church building, which exhibited anti-religious exhibits and glorifying Soviet power. There was a cemetery next to the church, now there is a kindergarten in its place, formerly called "Star". The fence of the church is surprisingly well preserved. Entering the territory there is a feeling of returning to the past. An impressive place.

Extremely attractive, cozy and interesting place with a great history. In recent years, much work has been done to restore the church. There is a Scythian burial on the territory. You can finally visit the church and go in the middle by arranging it with polite guards.

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin, it is the "Armenian Church". The temple is half underground and quite low. Built presumably in the 14-15 centuries. Began to restore recently. They are not allowed inside, but you can walk around - the guard passes. The Sarmatian crypt of the 3rd century, found in a sand pit in the vicinity of the city, is kept on the territory of the church.

Armenian Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin (Surb Astvatsatsin) in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. A unique monument of the Middle Ages. Built in the fourteenth century. The dating was made on two slabs with inscriptions embedded in the walls of the church. Tiled type, T-shaped in plan. Almost half the height is underground. Several khachkars are embedded in the temple walls. The temple was closed in 1940. Until 2013, the base of the archaeological expedition was located in the church building. The church was then handed over to the Armenian community. In 1989, a stone Sarmatian basement made up of limestone slabs was discovered in the sand quarry on the eastern outskirts of the city. Built around the 3rd century AD. It is also a unique monument of late antiquity. For the sake of preservation, the crypt was moved to the manor of the Assumption Church, where it still stands. This is how two rare monuments of the XIV and III centuries are combined.
