Very nice church!
It is known that in 1507 a parochial church already existed in Dubliany. About the church, which existed in the beginning of the XVII century. we know only that it burned down in 1624 during the Tatar invasion. In 1660 a wooden building appeared, which in 1693 gained privilege from the Polish king Jan III Sobieski.
In 1860-1863 instead of it, the present wooden church was erected for the pastor Vasyl Grabovsky, with the great help of Mr. Celestin Sozansky, a descendant of the former owner of the adjacent village of Kornalovich Adam Sozansky, whom the Austrian government appointed as the patron of the local temple in order to ensure that this function was respected by all his successors.
In 1891, for the pastor Mikhail Mickiewicz, the church was reconstructed (extended and covered with a tin), again with the help of Felix Sozansky. The next repair was in 1889, then restored in 1970. The renewed church is consecrated to the feast of St. Prophet Ilya, with the participation of Bishop Konstantin Chekhovich in 1900. May 31, 1911 and the church was rescued from the fire.
283 buildings were burnt by fire, including the church bell tower and the pleban of the priest Julian Plateka. This part of the settlement still belongs to the people Pogorelysk. The church procession under the direction of priest Julian Platek was an indisputable fact of healing the church from the fire. The laymen so sincerely prayed that the verse of the wind and fire began to descend on its own.
During the Second World War, the German authorities were irrevocably taken from the bell tower two bells. In 1946, after the closure of the local Roman Catholic parish and the departure of the Polish population in Poland, the church (now it does not exist) was removed and the bell was moved to the church. The altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Merciful) was sent to the church.
Since then, there are two altars dedicated to the Virgin in the temple. Since 1946 the shrine has passed into the womb of the Moscow Orthodox Church. In 1990, for the priest Taras Fedorovich, the parish returned to the womb of the Greek Catholic Church.
