Olya Shevchenko, it would be better to write in Ukrainian, then you would be understood correctly: "peasant" translates as "peasant" (ie a person living in a village). You probably meant "Christian" (a person who professes Christianity), ie "Christian". Then you have a digression into Russian, which you do not know, a hike.
