Very beautiful, well-kept place. I liked literally everything. Cathedrals, territory. It is felt that there is a convent. Order and cleanliness argue with beauty. I strongly advise you to visit. You will not regret. It is surprising that it is quiet and calm and it is practically in the center of Kiev.

The church is in the territory of the nunnery. It looks nice both outside and inside. Outside, a greener, cheerful, and inside all in gilding. It seems that gold will start to drip. On the ceiling and walls of the fresco. Beautiful huge chandelier. Gloom and burning candles. The monks walk in all black with some sort of frozen waxen faces. They look at you like you're about to steal something. Br-r. Yes, there are cellar rooms here. In one of them I saw an old darkened icon, on which several faces appeared. The nun said that they are showing up gradually, but before the icon was all darkened.

Holy Pokrovsky Kyiv Nunnery. It was founded on January 11, 1889 by Grand Duchess Alexandra Petrivna.
