The Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God on Priorka is one of the few surviving temples after the war of 1941-1945. According to the stories of parishioners, whose parents survived the war, they were hiding in the church during the shelling and not a single shell hit the building. The construction of the temple was completed in 1906. Ivan Sidorovich Izhakevich, a Russian and then a Soviet artist, took part in the restoration of the design of the temple. He painted the iconostasis of the church. The temple, after opening in 1906, experienced a revolution and was closed in 1938 with the establishment of a vegetable base in it. With the arrival of the Nazis, the temple was opened and no longer closed. They served in the church in Soviet times. The Church of the Intercession is the only one on Vinohradar and therefore there are always parishioners here. Dionysius, Bishop Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky, Vicar of the Kiev Diocese, often conducts festive and Sunday services in the church

A very beautiful and prayerful place. I was struck by the cleanliness, beauty and comfort that reigned around. This is a blessed place, there is a special atmosphere of love, reverence and admiration. This special atmosphere immediately envelops you upon entering the temple. The ministers of the temple are very responsive, attentive and hardworking.

Awful church !!!! The child was baptized there - it was a terrible day! Father on his own wave, doing his job at random, not understanding what he was saying, it was muttering under his breath with a displeased face. you can't carry out this ceremony so heartlessly! I understand that this is a routine for him ... but I realized that it would be better if I did not go there at all, because I wanted to pick up the child, send it and go home! I do not advise anyone to baptize children in this church!

Очень красивое и намоленное место! Сердце трепещет. Уникальный храм. Внешний вид - величественный и торжественный.
