We rested in Amara in late July-early August 2019. This is the 7th time and the second time in Turkey in this hotel. All that we have already seen, and also have the experience that in 40 degrees of heat excursions - this is TABU! Because: 1. each trip takes at least 1.5 hours one way. 2. If this is a full day excursion, then the lunch that is included in it leaves, to put it mildly, much to be desired (especially if you live in a hotel of such a level as Amara) or Rixos. 3. heat is not the best satellite for sightseeing in the open. BUT! Built this Land of Legends! We have a small child (4 years old), and we ourselves were not averse to seeing such an advertised place. This is a territory that includes water slides (water park with 6-7 slides) and ground attractions. And also a bunch of cafes, restronayiks and shops). In short, it's just hellish! The territory is huge! swim, only the pool! There is no sea there. On a water slide turn of 45 minutes. But! There is a queueless entry that you need to purchase for $ 38! Our guide did not inform us about this. We took 150 dollars (for food and drinks) with us for three adults and a child, and when we heard that we needed to buy a ticket for extra. fee in the amount of 38 dollars (38x3 = 114 dollars), the question was: slides or food))) of course, we chose the second. If the guide had warned, we would have taken these 114 dollars with us, and never had a ride, because standing in the heat for 45 minutes to slide once is too much ... There are practically no shadow zones. The heat was just unbearable. Left-luggage office for things paid. Sun beds - only for hotel residents (there are rooms on the territory). at 14.00 we went to the rides, which were included in the price of tickets, and that’s all. Instead of spending a day at sea in our hotel, we goggled in the heat and bathed in bleach! All this horror was from 11 to 17. Plus a round trip - 3 hours. When we arrived at the bus, the accompanying guide asked our impressions! Of course, I told her everything and that the tour was not very thought out! In my opinion, it is better to do evening excursions to such places, because it is not so hot, and in the evening you can ride the norm. And what do I hear in response (oh gods !!!)? what an evening tour there !!! But! For some reason, our guide decided not to tell us about it !!! In short, we just threw 300 dollars into the trash! Just because we were not informed! And finally, when we were already flying home, we were brought to the SORBET shopping center on the way to the airport. I bought Turkish delight, rose jam in a glass jar and pomegranate sauce in a 0.33 liter plastic bottle there. I asked the seller 3 times whether these goods would be put in hand luggage! She answered the same number of times in the affirmative, without blinking an eye! In short, they took my jam and sauce at the airport ... The 7th time in Turkey and still come across .... But, this is experience and the next time I will not make such mistakes! And I hope this review will help to avoid them and those who read it))
