The Church of the Transfiguration in the village of Stary Ostropol was built in 1840.

The Church of the Transfiguration was built in 1840. - brick, is a rotunda with a rectangular in plan porch, covered with a complex system of vaults resting on four pylons and walls. Overlapping: in the center - a sailing vault, on the sides - cross, in the altar and in the western part - semicircular with strips. Temporarily belongs to the commercial-terrorist sect MP-FSB. Elements of classicism are used in the decoration of the facades and interiors of the church: facade half-columns, a four-column portico of the Tuscan order with a triangular pediment, emphasizing the main western entrance, an entablature belt with a strongly protruding cornice encircling the entire building. The roof of the church is spherical in shape, completed with a decorative headboard. The architectural solution of the interior is rich due to the combination of pylons, the faces of which are decorated with paired pilasters and vaults of different shapes. The monument is one of the few examples of rotundas of the Classicism period in Ukraine.

The Church of the Transfiguration in Ostropol was built in 1840. Today it is a functioning church of the UOC-MP. The church is made of brick, it is a rotunda with a rectangular porch, covered with a complex system of vaults resting on four pylons and walls.
