Виталий Владимирович (07/06/2018)
Church of St. spirit. 1922 (UOC) The wooden church in the village is mentioned in diocesan documents from 1778. The present wooden church was built quite late, but in good tradition. Unusual are the side vestibules, which are not typical of old wooden churches, as well as the figured porch on carved columns. According to Pavlina Kotubey's recollections, the church was organized and built by brothers Ilko, Simko, Ivan and Hryts Kotubey, and a woman named Wendzelykha gave the place. Near the church there is a traditional two-tiered belfry of frame construction with three bells. One large bell was cast by Richard Herold in Chomutov in 1924, and another by F. Egry in 1935 (apparently this bell was ordered by Yuri Kotubey, Ilko's son). A brick cross was erected near the bell tower in 1932. Now, unfortunately, both the church and the bell tower are lined with tin. In the late 1940s, a small wooden Orthodox church was built in a part of the village called Cherenniki, which stood for only a few years.
