Trinity Church - a parish Orthodox church in the village of Oposhnya, Poltava region. Belongs to the Zenkov deanery of the Poltava diocese of the UOC MP. In 1902, there were 1,539 parishioners - 770 males and 769 females. In 1912, there were 21 parishioners of privileged classes, philistines - 77, Cossacks - 1416, peasants - 80. Trinity Church held a service in the early 1930s. Subsequently, it was destroyed. At the same time, as eyewitnesses testified, three destroyers died. The remains of the wall were filled up with streets and paved with the sidewalks of Oposhni, and local atheists used to disassemble the deep foundation for a long time and use it to build their own housing. From the remains of the temple was built premises of the Oposhniansky consumer society. In modern times, the community has resumed work on November 24, 1994 and is subordinate to the Moscow Patriarchate. In 1995-1997, a new temple with a bell tower was erected. In 1998, a 100 kg bell was installed. There is a church library, a Sunday school for children and a missionary group for adults. At the festive services in the church, a youth choir sings.
