The temple is prayed for, it is clear that worthy people support it. It is worth visiting until the sectarians captured and plundered it.
The temple is unusually bloody. Sky blue. Immediately striking from anywhere in the city.
St. George's Cathedral is an Orthodox (until 1795 Greek Catholic) church in Kamianets-Podilskyi on Polish Filwark. In 1993–2011 she was the cathedral cathedral of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate). The church was built according to the typical projects recommended in the second half of the nineteenth century for widespread use within the Russian Empire. Such projects were called stylistic imitations of ancient Russian architecture. The monument is a typical example of the so-called "pseudo-Russian style" in nineteenth-century Russian architecture. The church building is stone, square in plan, four-pillar with one semicircular apse and three narthexes (north, south and west). The four pillars with arches carry a high octagonal drum with a bath. The angular articulations of the cubic volume are topped with octagonal tent tops, creating a characteristic five-headed silhouette of the structure. By type, St. George's Church is an inheritance of the Russian tent temple architecture. The facades are decorated in "pseudo-Russian style" with the use of tongue-in-cheek finishes, hens, semi-columns with perspective arches on profiled imposts. High tent roofs are decorated with arches. The bell tower is located west of the church. Its place in the ensemble and composition - two octets on a quadruple - are dictated by the traditions of Russian Orthodox architecture. The facades are made according to the architectural decoration of the church.
We come here once a year before the procession. Wonderful place.
I looked from afar at her from the fortress. The curiosity won and I even visited there on departure ...
