Tserkva Sv Varvary

The construction of a stone church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara began in 1819. The church was built at the expense of the former landlady, the widow of Major Capitolina Enokhina and Lieutenant General Peter Stepanovich Kotlyarevsky. His wife, Varvara Ivanivna, died of a difficult birth, 19 years old. And the church was built in memory of her. Capitoline - Barbara's mother (and Capitol is named after his landlady)
