The Armenian church-church in Zhvanets was built by the Armenian community after 1699, when Armenians from Kamyanets arrived in the town with the permission of the then owners of Zhvanets Lantskoronsky. The church was part of the fortress, as evidenced by the remains of a stone defensive wall around the church, which have survived to this day. Loopholes can still be seen on the western and eastern sides of the stone fence of the temple. Moore had two gates over which towered defensive towers with archers. The original church was wooden. In 1769, during the Polish uprising, the church was destroyed by the Confederates. The existing church was built during 1782-1786. In 1786, the icon of St. Caiten was transported to the church from Zamość, Poland. In 1791 the restored church was re-consecrated by the Lviv archbishop of the Armenian rite Valerian Tumanovych. Since 1800, when the Armenians left Zhvanets, the Armenian priest has served the predominantly Catholic community. But the Armenian relics in the temple were kept at least as early as 1895, when Zhvanets was visited by the Armenian historian Kuchuk-Ioannisyan. Then the Armenian church became a Catholic parish church. hell with the very door of the Angel with a banner, a symbol of the Armenian community of the city, like all Christians after all. Above the composition with the Angel, there is a cartouche with the emblem of "Zadora" (Zadora), (the mouth of a lion from which the flame erupts), the emblem of the Lyantskoronsky. This is quite natural, as Wawrzyniec Lanckoroński (XVII-1751) funded the construction of a new church. Above is another cartouche with two combined family coats of arms. Under the general crown of the last owner of the city, Alexander Alesander Komar (XIX-1875), there are two family coats of arms: "Korczak", which belonged to Alexander, and the coat of arms "Dołęga", which belonged to his wife, Pelageja Mostowska (Pelagia Mostowska).

The church is old, but the architecture stands out a little, there are old walls around the church, a good place!

An interesting newly rebuilt church, the height of the bell-towers is much reduced, most likely they saved money
