Askania Nova zoological park

Probably, there is something magical in the Askania Nova reserve that attracts people again and again. I went there twice on a guided tour as a teenager. Then I went on my own a couple of years ago. I spent the night at the campsite, went on a safari. It would seem that she saw everything, that's enough. But no, I want to go to Askania again. Because I walked a little in the dendrological park, did not see the virgin steppe. Because during the safari I saw herds of animals in the distance, but I wanted to get closer. Because the photo did not turn out very well, I would like better. In the zoological park and during the safari, I was most struck not by wild animals, oddly enough, but by domestic animals that are found not in our country, but somewhere in Africa and Asia. Deer, camels, zebras have happened to be seen in other zoos, and even Przewalski's horse is not a novelty, but watussi, gayals are something. The most interesting thing is to walk around the zoo with a guide. But if you did not come with a group, but yourself, then you are not entitled to a guide.
