Solo east organized a private tour of Chernobyl for me with Pasha as my driver and guide. This was such an amazing trip that I hadn't even imagined. The trip was professionally organized. Pasha is very friendly and knowledgeable. Since it was a private tour, he tailored the trip as per my requests and he kept offering suggestions. A vegetarian lunch was also arranged for me right in Chernobyl. Man, the lunch was delicious. If you are in Ukraine to visit Chernobyl, you can't go wrong with SoloEast.

Highly recommended! Those guys are super professional! My wife was a litle worried to visit Chernobyl exclusion zone (obvious reasons), but our guide Igor Bodnarchuk took care of us for the whole time. As we booked 2 day private tour, he was our driver, guide and great companion for the whole time. The car was clean and comfortable. If you have time we would also recommend to visit Power plant. We booked a private tour to Chernobyl with SoloEast and we had a great time. The guide was on time (like to the minute on time). We had a fun ride going there. Victoria, our guide, was great. She showed us around the area, good lunch. We came back at 8pm. Full day tour, I loved it. One thing I would add is that the tour includes a visit of the Woodpecker complex, an old soviet radar base. Honestly, I would have much rather spent some more time in Prypiat. This is not the company's fault, I was aware that we were going. But II would suggest to skip it, and just go straight to the interesting stuff around the Plant and the city. It's so much better. Also, Victoria, if you read this, your laugh is one of the greatest one I've heard, don't change.

The tour with Solo East West travel is highly recommended. Everything was very well organized, the lunch was nice and our guide Yuliia was very nice and she told us a lot of interesting things. Also our driver was very friendly and capable. Everything went very smoothly which made it a very relaxed day. Highly recommended for all tourists in the Ukraine.

Thanks for an interesting trip this week! A few comments: 1. We were not told the full program of the day in the beginning of the trip. That should be added to each tour so that the tourists would know how the day would be looking like as a whole. For instance, we were not informed how many places we would visit during the day. 2. Not everyone has seen the HBO mini series. I got the impression on the tour that it was expected that everyone would have seen it. 3. The tour should not be about taking pictures but learning more about recent history events and their impact. I felt that there was more focus on pictures than facts. 4. The online booking system is convenient and easy to use.
