Stryzhavska church

It was built in 1827 at the expense of Mr. Grokholsky in the classicist style. Before the arrival of the Soviets, the church had its original appearance, and later - was severely desecrated. There was also a bell tower, which was destroyed in those days. For almost 70 years, the church was used for other purposes. The period of red barbarism greatly changed the exterior and interior of the church. Since 1991 the church has been transferred to the parish. Today it is gradually being rebuilt and restored. Mr. Grokholsky also had an estate in the village, but now there is a prison in his town. Probably, the palace was dismantled and bricks were used to build a prison. It is possible that something is still left of the palace, but it is impossible to enter the territory.
