On October 27, 1994, in the picturesque Carpathian village of Kryvopillya, Verkhovyna district, the construction of the Temple in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah began. Until now, services were held in the chapel. Temple of the Prophet Elijah s. Kryvyi Rih In 1998, at a public meeting, the head of the church committee was elected - Spindzak Ivan Paliyovych, who heads it to this day. A wooden church was built at the expense of the faithful. Masters from Kosiv and Verkhovyna worked on the construction. The roof for the Church was donated by Mykola Shkriblyak, a candidate for People's Deputies who is now deceased. On August 2, 2001, the consecration of the Church took place by His Eminence Bishop John of Kolomyia and Kosiv (Boychuk). The carved iconostasis, which has no analogue in the Verkhovyna denomination, is the work of Kosiv masters under the guidance of a teacher of the Kosiv Institute of Applied Arts Bzunko SV August 2, 2013 - on the occasion of the feast of the throne, the Church was visited by His Eminence Bishop Julian of Kolomyia and Kosiv. Currently, the churchyard and the Shrine itself are being actively built.
