Church of the Holy Cross

In order to strengthen the Catholic faith and the domination of the Polish nobility in the conquered lands, in 1741, a Roman Catholic Church of the Exaltation of the Cross was built in Ozaryntsi at the expense of Count Dzieduszycki and Khorunji Trembowalski. "The building is stone, durable, the dollar is made, with columns. The parishioners are 1133 men and women ..." (Trudy Podolsky…, v.9 1901) The church was aesthetically decorated, solemn, with an organ brought from Warsaw, it charmed all the inhabitants of the village with its majestic powerful sounds. Alleyways were planted near the temple, lined with ornamental trees and bushes. In the 30 years of the 20th century. local authorities closed the church, the Komsomol members removed the cross, the property was destroyed and stolen, and the premises were later converted into a warehouse. Only in 1987. The Roman Catholic community, with the help of the collective farm builders, began to rebuild it. The church is currently in operation.
