The church was built in 1862 by master Hryhoriy Herasymlyuk on the donations of parishioners and Henri Shved. In the courtyard of the temple there is a wooden two-tiered bell tower erected in 1744. The year of construction of the bell tower suggests that the church on this site was in the village before. The temple is not large in size, three-part and consists of a nave, nave, and altar.
