Karlovsky district court of the Poltava region - is a local court of general jurisdiction and is located at: 39500, Poltava region, Karlovsky district, Karlovka, st. Uspenskaya, 4. According to Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judiciary and Status of Judges", the main task of the court is to administer justice on the principles of the rule of law, to ensure everyone's right to a fair trial and respect for other rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, as well as international agreements, consent for which the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine obliged. The jurisdiction of the court extends to the territory of the Karlovy district. The court is a court of first instance, which is authorized to initially consider and resolve criminal, civil, administrative cases, cases on administrative offenses, assigned by the procedural law to his jurisdiction. The court examines the case in essence by establishing the validity, unfoundedness or partial validity of the claim (a dispute over civil rights or the protection of rights, freedoms and interests in publicly-legal relations) or the guilt or innocence of a person (when charged with a crime). In the course of consideration of the case, the plaintiff, the defendant, the accused (defendant), the victim, witnesses are summoned to court in court, in order to obtain evidence on the basis of their testimony, as well as documents, actual evidence, on the basis of which the circumstances relevant for the resolution of the case would be established . The decision on the merits ends with the relevant act of justice: a sentence in criminal cases, a civil decision, a ruling on cases of administrative jurisdiction.
