Ioannes Suchavsky Underground Church

It is NOT Ioannes Suchavsky. It is a ver old Armenian underground church dating from the 10th or 11th century.

I was not lucky enough to get in the middle, but even outside the building gives the impression of a monumental creation. Photo old, autumn 2011 :)

We found this church on the map and decided to go and see it. When they approached, they saw that repairs were being done, they wanted to leave, but still asked if it was possible to see ... We were opened, even had a tour and told about this Armenian church. I recommend visiting. Nice atmosphere. They didn’t take money from us for the entrance; we left a donation for restoration in a box inside the church. The visit will take about 15 minutes.

Unfortunately, when we were here everything was closed ( It is very unfortunate, because not every day you can come here from Kramatorsk.

The place is interesting, it is now in the process of restoration. The caretaker gave a free mini-tour with a charitable contribution. When a greater percentage of the painting is restored, there will be a very remarkable and historical place
