A wonderful Adventist community! I have visited, I am and will be visiting! If God comes first, then everything else is in its place!

The Department of Religious Studies at the G. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences investigated the content and orientation of the Seventh-day Adventist creed. Doctors of philosophical sciences Lyudmila Filipovich and Peter Yarotsky analyzed whether Adventists can be attributed to churches and whether they are a sect. Some excerpts from the document: “The active dynamism in the Church of the SDA (Seventh-day Adventists) in the social life of Ukrainian society has contributed to the formation of a new type of confessional industrialization of the SDA Church - open to the world and active entry into civil society. This type of confesiology has no theological and state legal foundations for determining its sectarian essence. It is unacceptable for the Church to be attributed to the "sects" the SDA Church as the others registered in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. " “The attitude to the SDA Church in Ukraine and its characterization in certain materials of the media as a“ sect ”is unacceptable and anti-constitutional. Such materials contradict the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” and international legal acts. ” Based on the research of scholars and given the social activities and the number of Adventists around the world, we can say that Seventh-day Adventists are not a sect.
